One of my hobbies is collecting old things, ranging from books to video games and more... At the moment, I've already built up a nice video game collection, and I’ll be sharing my progress and new purchases here in the future :D
These are all my video game consoles and video games that I currently own. Among them, you can also find some Anime CDs like Lain or Vampire knight. I started actively collecting consoles etc. in spring 2021 (picture as of January 2022).
What I find very special about my collection is that I own a Gba sp 101 IQue Edition, with the original packaging and charging cable plus a few games, which I was able to buy cheaply in Russia:D It's so special because it was only released in China, at that time Nintendo wasn't allowed to sell its products in China, so they sold them there under the name IQue.
What I am also very happy about is my old TV I got for free from an old man, it still works great, has a remote control but is very heavy O_o
Another cool thing I own is my Nintendo 3ds which is a limited Zelda edition I got for Christmas in 2015. Unfortunately, I no longer have the original box, but I'm still glad to have it.
My favorite in the whole collection though is animal crossing for the game cube it's very rare in Germany, and I'm happy to have an exemplar in my collection.
I love old phones, I started to collect them towards the end of 2020 and already have so many phones that I'm proud of :DDD Don't think they're just laying around there, no, I still use them, and so far I've only had to change the battery of my Motorola Razr v3, the other Nokia phones still have a great battery. I wish I could go back to a time when smartphones were not used yet. When I switch to an old phone it's often hard because some people can't send SMS because it costs money for them or they just don't feel like writing SMS all the time, that's why I haven't used my old phones that much lately, but I think I'll switch back to one in summer again.
Since I haven't updated this blog for a long time, I thought I'd show you the things I've got lately :-) First, on the left picture, we have some of The Legend of Zelda Mangas and 2 Kingdom Heart Mangas that I bought from a friend. also a manga by Judith Park that I got for free, but more on that in a moment. I got the 3 cell phones as a gift from a friend when I told him that I collect old cell phones. Then on the right picture we have 3 posters that I bought on Ebay a short time ago, and when they arrived the manga by Judith Park was in there also :-)
Today, I’m showing you my latest treasures that I recently bought. I’d like to start with my new Dreamcast, which I got to play one of my favorite games, Shenmue. For the optimal experience, I also bought a VMU (Visual Memory Unit) and a Rumble Pack. I had already played Shenmue on Steam, but playing it on a CRT television with the original controller in hand is an indescribable feeling. Next, I have Shin Megami Tensei 3, which was recommended to me by a good friend, as it's their favorite game. So far, I’ve only watched gameplay on YouTube, and I’m very excited to see what it will be like.
